Migrate Linux Travis testing from Precise to Trusty

Browse source 
Default gcc compiler changes from gcc-4.6.3 to gcc-4.8.4
Migrate target languages except Octave for which there are no equivalent
packages for 3.2 and 4.0
Still test gcc on Precise (errors test-suite only)
