b80f4dc5e2 Restrict the name used in %extend to be just the struct/class name and not a typedef to a class/struct. Typedefs were only partially working anyway. Anonymous struct typedefs excluded. Deprecate with a warning for now. 2013-02-18 19:53:37 +00:00

3477a9dff1 [D] Replaced the term "wrap D module" with "intermediary D module" (including names derived from it). 
This was suggested by wsfulton on the mailing list in order to bring the D module in line with the C# one, the naming scheme of which is intended to be language-independent.

03aefbc6e9 Added support for the D programming languge. 
It is still a bit rough around some edges, particularly with regard to multi-threading and operator overloading, and there are some documentation bits missing, but it should be fine for basic use.

The test-suite should build and run fine with the current versions of DMD, LDC and Tango (at least) on Linux x86_64 and Mac OS X 10.6.

2970f53c21 Remove the -rename option in the Go language support. Do a much 
better job of checking for name conflicts.  Ignore conflicting names
with a warning.  Adjust the testsuite accordingly.

aa61c716a8 Stop generating uncompileable code when using nested template classes in functions. Replace SWIGWARN_PARSE_NESTED_CLASS with SWIGWARN_PARSE_NAMED_NESTED_CLASS and SWIGWARN_PARSE_UNNAMED_NESTED_CLASS for named and unnamed nested classes respectively. Named nested class ignored warnings can now be suppressed by name using %warnfilter

c83f80c061 Remove duplicate definitions of WARN_PHP_MULTIPLE_INHERITANCE and 
WARN_PHP_UNKNOWN_PRAGMA which were carefully providing backwards compatibility
for WARN_PHP4_MULTIPLE_INHERITANCE and WARN_PHP4_UNKNOWN_PRAGMA until PHP4 was
clobbered to PHP with search and replace hammer.  This has now been broken in
at least one release, so we'll just have to give up on trying to be helpful to
existing users.

7dfd9aae31 WARN_* constants are user visible, so keep existing WARN_PHP4_* for 
backward compatibility, but add preferred forms WARN_PHP_* and use
these ourselves.

Rename Lib/php4 to Lib/php, Source/Modules/php4.cxx to Source/Modules/php.cxx.
 
Add typemaps for const reference so Examples/test-suite/apply_signed_char.i
works.

cff2f67179 The default is now to not generate an additional method declaration when a method is declared with an extern. Use -addextern option to recreate original behaviour (new commandline option), with -noextern now redundant.
