e01cfd70c7 Add missing declaration for std::complex 
Fixes missing type information for std::complex in scripting languages.
Closes #732.

Update Javascript and Octave complextest, although they don't actually
get run as they don't work

9e66af3fef Octave: do not dump Octave core in examples/test suite scripts 
- If Octave segfaults during cleanup, it usually cannot dump its core
  and therefore just freezes, which hold up e.g Travis build jobs

3718b810c7 Don't generate constructor wrappers if a base class has a private constructor 
g++-5 errors out with this now with errors such as:

default_constructor_wrap.cxx:665:27: error: use of deleted function ‘FFF::FFF()’

2b5499a262 Slight simplification of test-suite build for new out-of-source changes 
Provide default SRCDIR and SCRIPTDIR variables in common.mk and override
only where needed.

f574a34155 Allow examples and test-suite to be built out of source tree 
- Examples/Makefile.in rules use SRCDIR as the relative source directory

- ./config.status replicates Examples/ source directory tree in build
  directory, and copies each Makefile to build directory, prefixed with
  a header which sets SRCDIR to source directory

- Examples/test-suite/.../Makefile.in set SRCDIR from Autoconf-set srcdir

- Examples/test-suite/errors/Makefile.in needs to filter out source
  directory from SWIG error messages

- Lua: embedded interpreters are passed location of run-time test

- Python: copy run-time scripts to build directory because of 2to3
  conversion; import_packages example copies __init__.py from source
  directory; test-suite sets SCRIPTDIR to location of run-time tests

- Javascript: binding.gyp renamed to binding.gyp.in so that $srcdir
  can be substituted with SRCDIR; removed './' from require() statements
  so that NODE_PATH can be used to point Node.js to build directory

d5b765d388 Whitespace cleanup of all Makefiles* 
- some of the %.clean rules in the test-suite Makefiles were using a single tab
  as an empty rule, dangerous! I've replaced these with the safer '@exit 0'.

7cd9063b52 Remove execute permissions from various non-executable files 
- source files and Makefiles need never be executable
- scripts are run directly by their interpreters in the
  test suites, so also do not need to be executable

e95ac82651 Nested C class setters restored in c++out mode for Octave 
Suitable casts are required so that assignment of instances of nested classes
work as the nested class is duplicated in the global namespace, eg:

struct Outer {
  struct Nested {
    int bar;
  } bar_instance;
};

Outer.bar_instance can now be assigned to.

479df82616 Octave: more robust configuration 
- do not rely on --eval argument to find mkoctfile, instead assume it
  is in the same directory as octave itself (which it always should be)
- check Octave options to make sure they are supported, including
  --no-window-system to prevent warnings if building without an X server
- disable Octave if any vital tests fail

b0ea5581c3 add extra logic to the octave_swig_type::dims(void) method: it checks if the user has defined a __dims__ method and uses this in stead of returning (1,1) (patch from jgillis, sf 3425993)
