Joy-Con 2 L + R now has a distinct persistent owner keyed by both typed
Bluetooth addresses. Its first bank atomically snapshots the left bank's eight
profiles, names and active slot; the new alias is empty. Both solo banks remain
unchanged. Later edits are copy-on-write, reconnect never reseeds, and a
different member combination gets a different owner. The first-ready USB slot
and existing input/rumble generation barriers remain intact. Failed seed
initialization leaves the first solo active.
Indexed catalog 3 migrates catalog 1/2 atomically at boot. Tagged pair identities
remain 14 bytes and cannot enter physical Bluetooth approval inventories.
Regression coverage includes pair/solo edits and activation, both connection
orders, member replacement, capacity, compaction, interrupted publication and
committed-but-unacknowledged seeds. All 321 tests passed; the physical catalog
migration preserved the seven existing owners and all 56 profiles, metadata,
active selections and adapter settings.
The real pair subsequently created its separate L + R owner: eight owners and
64 profiles, with all eight initial pair profiles/names matching the left bank.
An inactive pair-profile edit and rename survived reboot without touching either
solo bank; independent activation was checked and all test settings restored.
Studio's selected pair key matched the live firmware owner, and Identify
produced two physical dispatches.
